RIP Byron Yeldell, May you forever smell like cologne in heaven.  That’s a personal joke…  https://www.facebook.com/ComedianSBrown   spankybrown.com

After his hit reality tv show, “THE FATCHELOR” rocked the airwaves of the Turner South channel he loaded up the truck and move to Beverly… hills that is…. wait… actually it was Hollywood. June 7-10 Moe Alexander

June 7-10 Moe Alexander

Mo’s comedy history includes his own Las Vegas show, “The Mo Funny Show” at the Casino Royale (2003).  After impressing Keenan Ivory Wayans with a good natured roast, he was asked to be the opening act on tour (1999) with Keenan.  Since 1995, his comedic skills have given way to bigger opportunities on television, such as appearances on ABC’s Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, and has even made an appearance in Poison’s Bret Michael’s film, Letters from Death Row.  In the past few years, Mo has been on several syndicated radio shows in major markets, such as Bob & Tom (Indianapolis), and Mancow (Chicago), and made his way through the ranks to become a semi-finalist in both the San Francisco Comedy Competition (2012) and the Seattle Comedy Comedy Competition (2013) and a headliner at a number of other festivals such as, Asheville Comedy Fest (2015), Altercation Festival (2016), Hopkins Comedy Festival (2017), and Memphis Comedy Festival (2017).  Earlier this summer (2017), Mo taped his first national stand-up appearance for Comedy Central, appearing in the Kevin Hart Presents series “Hart of the City: Memphis Edition.”
Mo has released four CD’s:  Evolution (2006), Nappy Headed Hoes and Other FCC Infractions (2008), Just in case the Mayans are Right…. (2012, which was featured on the iTunes new and notable charts front page for 5 months), and Got Clots (2016)
as could only be told from inside the comedic mind of Mo Alexander.  This hilarious look at life from the perspective of 77 days of hospitalization was released exactly one year, on April 5th, from the time of his first death and resurrection which occurred on April 5, 2015 (Easter Sunday).

To say that Mo is funny is like saying that Michelangelo was a good painter. Taking all of life’s absurdities and creating a night of hysterical laughter is why Mo Alexander is one of this industries greats. Mo takes a lifetime of experience and insight and transforms them into some of the most ingenious laugh riots you will ever experience in your life. Not for the faint of heart, or mind, intelligent and hard-hitting are two terms that best describe what everyone that has ever been to a Mo Alexander Show will experience.  Nothing compares to the energy of a room when Mo is through with it. Watching Mo Alexander is a night of hilarity and mischief that one won’t soon forget. Though, he usually tries to leave you with the underlying message,”I’m trying to save the world, one comedy show at a time.” You realize that not only are you entertained, you’re changed. You have a mission: “to slap the stupid!”

June 14-16 Dusty Slay

Just seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Dusty Slay is a stand-up comedian with a baritone voice so smooth it’s like champagne in your ears. Dusty walks you through a childhood in the trailer park, his adult years in the workforce and as an occasional blackout drunk. He thinks skunks smell like weed and leaves the serious topics like race, religion and politics up to someone who, unlike him hasn’t drank gas out of a water hose.

Slay has appeared on several network shows including ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, the popular program “Laughs on FOX” and he was a featured comedian on “TMZ”.  Dusty’s comedy is regularly showcased on many nationally syndicated radio programs including Sirius XM, Pandora Radio and “The Bob and Tom Radio Show”. He’s also been invited to numerous comedy festivals across America including: The Bridgetown Comedy Festival 2017, The Turnbuckle Comedy Festival 2017, The Laughing Skull Festival 2015-16, The Charleston Comedy Festival and The Cape Fear Comedy Festival. Dusty won both the “Fight Night Competition” and the “Almost Famous Competition” at the Charlotte Comedy Zone in 2014.  During his years in Charleston, SC Slay won The Charleston Comedy Festival Stand Up Competition two years in a row and was voted “Best Local Comic” by the readers of the Charleston City Paper in 2013 and 2014.

Dusty was born in Alabama, his parents divorced when he was two, then there was a custody battle, his mom lost, so he had to go live with her. He split time between his dad who lived on a farm, and his mom who lived in a trailer park. When asked about his education, Slay says, “When I was kid, my dad asked me if I wanted to go to college or if I wanted a pool. Man, I love that pool.”

Clean Comedy

James GregoryFor over three decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grin-ning: his shirt un-tucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It’s storytelling at its best. The trade-mark caricature is the essence of James Gregory’s comedy: rib-tickling reflections on life from the front porch. James is heard weekly on syndicated radio shows such as Rick and Bubba, John Boy and Billy and Bob and Tom. Much of his humor is centered on brilliant observations of crazy relatives and people obsessed with the slightest change in weather conditions – now referred to as global warming.

With Steve’s arsenal of characters, voices and topics, he often cracks himself up during his show. Growing up in New York and then moving to Texas, being only half Italian, younger sisters, dogs, belt dads and smoking are only some of the topics covered. His act has universal appeal because everybody can relate to something.

Steve stays busy touring forty plus weeks a year all over the U.S. He’s done numerous television commercials, syndicated radio shows, corporate events, charities, military instillation’s in Europe, comedy clubs and civic auditoriums. He has also appeared on TNN, Comedy Central, Liars and Legends and Showtime. “I don’t like to mention it, but I was also a losing contestant on both ‘The Dating Game’ and ‘Love Connection’ back when I was just getting started.”

July 11 One Night Only with Frank Caliendo

July 11 One Night Only with Frank Caliendo

*Special event: no passes, coupons or discounts accepted.

In this club tour around the country, Frank will be doing some of his most well-known impressions and comedy as well as additional new characters and material that he’s working on. Get a mix of old and new and a Frank you probably have never seen before.

Comedian, actor, and impressionist Frank Caliendo has been making people laugh his entire life.  He is well known for his impressions of famous personalities Donald Trump, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro; politicians George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama; broadcasters John Madden, Charles Barkley and Jon Gruden; and talk show hosts  Dr. Phil, Jay Leno, and David Letterman.

On stage, Caliendo’s high energy act is a blend of observations, impressions, characters and anecdotal stories that start at a frenetic pace and never let up.  Appropriately described by the Hollywood Reporter as “a combination of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey,” Caliendo is one comedian that should not be missed.

After completing an impressive 10-year run on the “FOX NFL Sunday Pregame” show, Frank recently found a new home over at ESPN, where he joined the cast of the “Sunday NFL Countdown”.  Realizing that ESPN has a plethora of strong personalities, Frank has added to his already vast arsenal of impressions, a new set of highly entertaining sports persona, including analysts like Jon Gruden, Mel Kiper, Jr., Ron “Jaws” Jaworski, Coach Mike Ditka, Adam Schefter, and Chris “Boomer” Berman.

Beyond ESPN’s NFL show, Frank’s segments often appear on “Sports Center” and other prized ESPN shows.  Frank’s “Gruden QB Camp” segments, Super Bowl “Richard Sherman 30 for 30” mocumentary, and “#IfTrumpWere” parodies are among the plethora of his works that have gone viral across the web.

A veteran of television sketch comedy as a cast member on “Mad TV” and starring in his own series “Frank TV”, Caliendo has been a fixture on television for over a decade. He has comedy specials with TBS and Comedy Central and routinely makes surprise and guest appearances on radio and TV shows.  Starting with over 15 combined appearances between the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Show with David Letterman”, Frank continues to be revered for his exuberant appearances on morning news and late night talk shows.

Though Frank can be highly known for his variety of sports-related impressions, he makes his live shows appealing for everyone in attendance by continually including a little bit of every major genre – sports, political figures, and celebrities. Franks live shows are also clean and family friendly (be sure to check with venue for age restrictions due to gaming and/or alcohol).

A Message from Frank:

Hey Everyone,

This spring and summer, I’m going to be doing a bunch of ONE NIGHT ONLY SHOWS (with a couple exceptions) in smaller venues. The idea behind these shows will be different than what I’ve been doing in theaters around the country for the past few years. Before you ask….. YES, of course I’ll be doing a bunch of impressions, but I’m going to also work on being “me” a lot more around them. Some of you are probably thinking, “Oh No! Frank’s having a midlife crisis!” No, I think a midlife crisis is more about being unsure of yourself. This is not the issue. This is about getting outside of the box I’ve built around myself on stage and letting my fans get to know the real me.

My plan is for these shows to be the most fun I’ve ever had on stage and I know we will all end up having a blast. So, see you out there! Let’s make some magic.

-Frank

  1. I won’t actually be doing any magic tricks with the audience.
  2. PPS. If I do start doing magic, then you can easily say, “Oh he’s DEFINITELY having a midlife crisis.”

August 22 and 23 Chad Prather

August 22 and 23 Chad Prather’s Star Spangled Banter Comedy Tour

Chad Prather was entertaining audiences on television as early as two years old.  The desire to be onstage started early.  He began acting at the age of 6 and by the age of 20 he was traveling all over the world – from Africa to Southeast Asia, from Russia to Central America – using his communication skills to influence international leaders with humor and inspiration.  Eventually Prather’s communication skills opened doors for him to move into the corporate arena of motivational speaking and writing.

Prather is known for his way with words. He is a comedian, armchair philosopher, musician, and observational humorist.  He is often referred to as “the modern day Will Rogers.”  He is a fast-talking combination of Lewis Grizzard and Jeff Foxworthy.  Originally from Augusta, GA Chad now calls the Fort Worth, TX area home.  He grew up working with horses (an industry he is actively involved in) and is often recognized by his ever-present cowboy hat.  His social media viral video are counted in the hundreds of millions. Many recognize him from his fast talking, rapid fire rants from the front seat of his truck.  CNN has labeled him the “Pick-up Pundit” and Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has called Prather, “supernaturally articulate.”  He is known for his comedic family stories told from an adult perspective onstage.

Prather has made numerous appearances on Fox News, CNN, A&E, The Blaze, MSN and has been featured in magazines from Southern Living to Nash Country Weekly.  He is the host of Ride TV’s “It’s My Backyard” and “Chad Prather’s Comedy Shootout.”  His wildly successful 2016 “Kings of Cowtown Comedy Tour” was a hit and his current “Star Spangled Banter Comedy Tour” is selling out theaters all over America.  He is one of the country’s fastest rising and talked about comedians and entertainers.
