August 1-4 Mr Showtime, David Scott

August 1-4 Mr Showtime,  David Scott

Manager’s Guarantee!!!!*

We feel this show is so entertaining and funny if you do not have a good time we will refund your money!!

*You must not be intoxicated or rude, and genuinely have not enjoyed your self, not trying to get a freebie.

In April 2013 he set a Guinness Book World Record for
Longest Stand Up Performance at 40 hours 8 Minutes!!

Putting the “show” back into “showman”.

Cocky and confident but never dull, Mr Showtime erupts onto the stage like the volcano in front of the Mirage Hotel in a fresh and original, over-the-top event that has been called sharp-witted, clever and classy.  The Midnight Swinger combines the style and cool of a 60’s Las Vegas performer with the flash and excitement of a 21st century Super Bowl halftime extravaganza.

More than just a stand-up comedian, David Scott is proud to be called a throwback entertainer. That’s right, an entertainer! Showtime believes in more than just standing behind the microphone and telling jokes, and doing more than just a simple “comedy show.” Mr Showtime  puts on a spectacle that will leave you LAFFIN’, SINGIN’ and SWINGIN’.

August 8-11 MUTZIE

August 8-11 MUTZIE

Mutzie has been a professional stand up comedian for 28 years now. He is a non stop laugh riot from the moment he walks onto the stage until his show stopper close. Watching Mutzie on stage is like watching the class clown in school, you never knew what was coming next, but you knew it was coming. He has hundred of jokes, but chooses to interact with the audience members for about half of each show.
Brandon Tartikoff – Former Preident of NBC once stated that if he had to hire two comedians, he would hire Mutzie twice. Hire him once and you will hire him twice as well. Mutzie is a sure fire can’t miss hit for any age, race, demographic, nationality, etc.
Mutzie is also very positive and inspirational. It’s not just a comedy show, it could be a life changing event.

July 28 Dan Whitehurst

July 28 Dan Whitehurst

In February 2001 Dan won the title “Worlds Funniest Cop” from the American Society For Law Enforcement Training, and in 2002 was named Metro’s Investigator of the year.

In May of 2005, a 19 year police career ended leaving nothing but the memories, and funny stories. Over the years the act has evolved from set-up/punch to relatable, true (mostly) stories.  Thanks Statute of Limitations!

As a hand picked opener for Janet, “The Tennessee Tramp” Williams early in his career, Dan was fortunate to travel and work with a seasoned professional who always kept him in stitches, and led to headlining opportunities of his own. He also toured briefly with mega-star Ralphie May, and opened for such acts as Tim Wilson, Killer Beaz, Josh Blue, Jay Mohr and the Emo Phillips, as well as appearing on the Bob And Tom Show.

Recently Dan has worked as an extra on the hit series “Nashville” which was renewed for another season and is open to any acting roles in which he can play a middle aged southerner with a thick accent.

Throw in his laid back style, southern charm, wit, and ability to find the funny in everyday life, and you have the ingredients for a future Comedy Star in trod-manhe making.

Rod Man got hooked on comedy at a young age. He signed up for “open mic” nights at Atlanta’s Uptown Comedy Club, hosted by the hilarious Earthquake. “Uptown was the place to be on Tuesday nights. The place was packed. You never knew who would stop in and do a guest spot. And you never really knew when you were going to hit the stage, because the list meant absolutely nothing to Earthquake.”

Since those open mic nights, Rod has become an award-winning, quintessential entertainer. He has graced the stage at Caesar’s Palace, The Gibson Amphitheater, and The Apollo Theater. He is currently the host of his own YouTube shows — Time Out with Rod Man and That Good Funny. Rod Man is also an actor and writer, known for his roles in Funny People (2009) with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen, The Big Black Comedy Show, Vol. 2 (2005), and The Chocolate Sundaes Comedy Show (2013).

The world is catching on to what true Rod Man fans already know — he’s down-to-earth, crazy-funny, and truly a special talent.

September 13-14 Michael Kosta

September 13-14 Michael Kosta

Correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

Michael Kosta is a standup comedian, TV host and former professional tennis star (ranked 864 in the world, as he is quick to self-deprecatingly admit).  Most recently, Kosta made his debut as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Kosta is no stranger to the world of talk shows. He was host and co-executive producer of The Comment Section for The Kardashian Network (formerly E!) and co-host on Fox Sports 1’s, Crowd Goes Wild. Kosta started out as an athlete; he is quick to point out that he was once-ranked number 864 in the world in professional tennis and earned over $11,000 on tour.  Don’t laugh, that’s $11,000 more than you made as a pro athlete.

Kosta gained attention as a comedian when he broke out of the HBO Comedy and Arts Festival in Aspen.  He quickly relocated to Los Angeles where he began his television career; he made regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno & Chelsea Lately before both those hosts drowned in their money and ended their shows.  He has performed on Conan, @midnight, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and also starred in his own comedy special, Comedy Central Presents: Michael Kosta.

September 27-29 Reno Collier

September 27-29 Reno Collier

Reno-Collier

Reno has built a reputation by selling out comedy clubs and colleges nationwide. In 2004 he joined Larry The Cable Guy on the hugely successful “2004 Tour of America.” Reno’s other national tours look more like a comedian’s wish-list than a resume, including theater and arena tours with the legendary Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White. In January 2007, he re-joined Larry the Cable Guy for his wildly successful arena tour spanning the United States and Canada.

Reno’s past TV credits include NBC’s “Late Friday,” “The Martin Short Show,” “Blue Collar Comedy: The Next Generation”, which aired on TBS, Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and “The Roast of Larry the Cable Guy.” Reno also made an appearance in the feature film “Witless Protection.”

In 2005 and 2006, Reno headlined the “Comics on Duty” tour for American troops stationed in Iraq. He is a regular fixture on the Bob & Tom syndicated radio show and Country Music Television (CMT), hosting various specials for the network. He has performed at the prestigious HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO and the Montreal Comedy Festival, and in 2005, taped his own “Comedy Central Presents” half-hour special. He can currently be heard during his weekly call-ins to the Blue Collar Comedy Channel on Sirius Satellite Radio and was the host of NBC’s 2009 summer family reality show “Great American Road Trip.”
