November 10, Stand Up for KW Cares

November 10, Stand Up for KW Cares

Stand-Up for KW Cares is a comedy benefit that will fund the local East Brainerd branch of KW Cares. KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency.

This event will feature an unforgettable night of laughter with comedians Mikah Wyman Stuible from Nashville, Greg Behrens from Atlanta, and Chris Killian!

Hosted by Bridgette Martin

Chris Killian never intended to become a stand-up comic. Growing up outside of Nashville, Chris was just a small guy with big dreams, like being a professional wrestler, performing in a boy band, or maybe entering professional pizza eating contests. Luckily for us, none of those dreams materialized and he decided to pursue comedy. Chris’ humor has been described as “overlooked because of his really cool hair.” While he does have amazing hair, Chris also prides himself on his versatility as a performer. Oh, forgot to mention – he writes original comedy songs too. Armed with his guitar (and the voice of a Backstreet Boy), this added depth to Chris’ already hilarious show features even more value for the audience’s entertainment dollar.

November 21-23 Landry

November 21-23  Landry

Winner of the 2012 World Series of Comedy and The Boston Comedy Festival.

Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario (Canada for those of you who don’t feel like pulling out an atlas) Landry first hit the stage in 2006, and has been on the fast track ever since. His charismatic style is kind of what you’d get if you mixed Charlie Chaplin with somebody who spoke; it would be just as physical, but in color.  Landry is downright hilarious and you’re sure to have a good time once you see what he does on stage. Not just restricted to his Canadian roots, Landry has also made a dent in the American comedy scene. He recently was an Atlanta finalist for NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity Showcase, and in 2008, just two short years after starting, he earned a spot on TVONE’s hit show “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?”.  Additionally, Landry has been heard on XM Satellite Radio and was the first winner of the Punchline Comedy Club’s “64 Comedian Super Comedy Competition”, as well as winning “The Boston Comedy Festival” in 2011. Keep your eyes open and your ear to the ground, because Landry is coming!

November 29-December 1 Janet Williams – The Tennessee Tramp

November 29-December 1 Janet Williams – The Tennessee Tramp

The Tennessee Tramp is a local favorite here in Chattanooga. Janet doesn’t hold anything back about her views on marriage, divorce, men, and women. She takes her comedy to the edge and over the top. She’s not just the Tennessee Tramp; she’s a favorite of the Troops. She has traveled to Japan, Korea, Germany and several other countries that will never be the same. Janet has performed all over the world, but she will always be our hometown favorite. You don’t want to miss her, she’s been watching the news, and trash TV and has lots to say about it. If you are squeamish she’s not your gal, but if you like it over the top you’ll love her as we all do.
