September 4-6 Landry

Winner of the 2012 World Series of Comedy and The Boston Comedy Festival.

Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario (Canada for those of you who don’t feel like pulling out an atlas) Landry first hit the stage in 2006, and has been on the fast track ever since. His charismatic style is kind of what you’d get if you mixed Charlie Chaplin with somebody who spoke; it would be just as physical, but in color.  Landry is downright hilarious and you’re sure to have a good time once you see what he does on stage. Not just restricted to his Canadian roots, Landry has also made a dent in the American comedy scene. He recently was an Atlanta finalist for NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity Showcase, and in 2008, just two short years after starting, he earned a spot on TVONE’s hit show “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?”.  Additionally, Landry has been heard on XM Satellite Radio and was the first winner of the Punchline Comedy Club’s “64 Comedian Super Comedy Competition”, as well as winning “The Boston Comedy Festival” in 2011. Keep your eyes open and your ear to the ground, because Landry is coming!

Tim Meadows – February 4th – 6th

12370884One of the longest-running cast members in the 40-year history of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, versatile comedian Tim Meadows crafted some of the series’ most memorable characters during his 10 years on the popular late night show.  Such characters included Leon Phelps, The Ladies’ Man and Lionel Osbourne, host of the fictional public affairs show, Perspectives, as well as uncanny impressions of OJ Simpson, Ike Turner and Sammy Davis Jr.  Meadows also played school principal in the hit comedy MEAN GIRLS and recently co-starred with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in the blockbuster comedies GROWN UPS and GROWN UPS 2. He was most recently on the NBC series MARRY ME starring as Casey Wilson’s father.

Born in Highland Park, Mich., and raised in Detroit, Meadows studied television and radio broadcasting at Wayne State University before performing improvisational comedy at the Soup Kitchen Saloon.  In 1985, Meadows relocated to Chicago, where he first joined Improv-Olympic, and then the legendary comedy troupe Second City.  During his three-years at Second City, he wrote and starred in productions of The Gods Must Be Lazy, with Chris Farley; It Was Thirty Years Ago Today; and Flag Smoking Permitted in Lobby Only, gaining a loyal following with his sharp comedic talent.  In 1991, Meadows achieved the dreams of comics nationwide when producer Lorne Michaels asked him to join SNL as a featured player.  Nominated for an Emmy® as part of the show’s writing team that same month, he later made the transition to cast member status two years afterward.

July 11 One Night Only with Frank Caliendo

July 11 One Night Only with Frank Caliendo

*Special event: no passes, coupons or discounts accepted.

In this club tour around the country, Frank will be doing some of his most well-known impressions and comedy as well as additional new characters and material that he’s working on. Get a mix of old and new and a Frank you probably have never seen before.

Comedian, actor, and impressionist Frank Caliendo has been making people laugh his entire life.  He is well known for his impressions of famous personalities Donald Trump, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro; politicians George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama; broadcasters John Madden, Charles Barkley and Jon Gruden; and talk show hosts  Dr. Phil, Jay Leno, and David Letterman.

On stage, Caliendo’s high energy act is a blend of observations, impressions, characters and anecdotal stories that start at a frenetic pace and never let up.  Appropriately described by the Hollywood Reporter as “a combination of Robin Williams and Jim Carrey,” Caliendo is one comedian that should not be missed.

After completing an impressive 10-year run on the “FOX NFL Sunday Pregame” show, Frank recently found a new home over at ESPN, where he joined the cast of the “Sunday NFL Countdown”.  Realizing that ESPN has a plethora of strong personalities, Frank has added to his already vast arsenal of impressions, a new set of highly entertaining sports persona, including analysts like Jon Gruden, Mel Kiper, Jr., Ron “Jaws” Jaworski, Coach Mike Ditka, Adam Schefter, and Chris “Boomer” Berman.

Beyond ESPN’s NFL show, Frank’s segments often appear on “Sports Center” and other prized ESPN shows.  Frank’s “Gruden QB Camp” segments, Super Bowl “Richard Sherman 30 for 30” mocumentary, and “#IfTrumpWere” parodies are among the plethora of his works that have gone viral across the web.

A veteran of television sketch comedy as a cast member on “Mad TV” and starring in his own series “Frank TV”, Caliendo has been a fixture on television for over a decade. He has comedy specials with TBS and Comedy Central and routinely makes surprise and guest appearances on radio and TV shows.  Starting with over 15 combined appearances between the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Show with David Letterman”, Frank continues to be revered for his exuberant appearances on morning news and late night talk shows.

Though Frank can be highly known for his variety of sports-related impressions, he makes his live shows appealing for everyone in attendance by continually including a little bit of every major genre – sports, political figures, and celebrities. Franks live shows are also clean and family friendly (be sure to check with venue for age restrictions due to gaming and/or alcohol).

A Message from Frank:

Hey Everyone,

This spring and summer, I’m going to be doing a bunch of ONE NIGHT ONLY SHOWS (with a couple exceptions) in smaller venues. The idea behind these shows will be different than what I’ve been doing in theaters around the country for the past few years. Before you ask….. YES, of course I’ll be doing a bunch of impressions, but I’m going to also work on being “me” a lot more around them. Some of you are probably thinking, “Oh No! Frank’s having a midlife crisis!” No, I think a midlife crisis is more about being unsure of yourself. This is not the issue. This is about getting outside of the box I’ve built around myself on stage and letting my fans get to know the real me.

My plan is for these shows to be the most fun I’ve ever had on stage and I know we will all end up having a blast. So, see you out there! Let’s make some magic.

  1. I won’t actually be doing any magic tricks with the audience.
  2. PPS. If I do start doing magic, then you can easily say, “Oh he’s DEFINITELY having a midlife crisis.”
